Protruck Management Inc. is
dedicated to bringing you the best in off road racing. For the
past 16 years we have brought some of the tightest head to head
competition in off road racing. The Protruck is by far one of
the best engineered off road race trucks ever built. Over the
past year we have implemented many changes to revitalized the
Protruck class and bring back the excitement Protruck drivers
have enjoyed over the years. These changes include a larger
engine package, larger fuel cell, options to increase axle size,
allowed TrailReady bead-lock race wheels, developed a Fox Shock
retro-fit kit that allows Fox Shocks to bolt onto the Protruck
and opened up the tire brand and tire size to include 37" tires.
Other changes in the works are a new upright assembly that will
utilize spherical bearings instead of ball joints. This setup
will also allow teams to go from 12" rotors to 14" rotors
utilizing their existing brake calipers. We are also finishing
up some custom bolt-on wheel centering hub caps that will bolt
directly to the existing hubs. These changes have and will
increase the overall performance of the Protruck and has
ultimately transformed the Protruck into an extremely powerful
desert machine.

Troy Vest is on a tear by capturing his third Best In The Desert race in a row. Troy took the Mint 400, Silver State 300 and the Vegas To Reno events. Vest is the current Protuck points leader in the Best In The Desert Series. With two events left on the schedule Vest is looking at capturing his third Best In The Desert Protruck Championship in a row.
Rule Updates as of 8/21/2012: Fox Racing Shox are now
legal in the Protruck class. We've also allowed 37" Tires,
14" Rotors and Wheel Centering Hub Caps. The new upright package is now available as well.
