First race score Barstow Fireworks 250. 1986-1988 Competed in class 9 with many top 5 finishes. 1988-1989 Competed with Danny Ashcraft in the Herzog Motorsports Ford Bronco. 1990 Co-drove with Ashcraft to win the SCORE Baja 1000 and the Gold Coast 300. 1991-1992 Competed in the Herzog Motorsports Class 6 Ford Sponsored Explorer finishing 2nd and 3rd in the season championships. 1993 Co-Drove with Scott Douglas to become the only class 7 Truck to win a overall in the San Felipe 250. 1994-1998 Changed gears to concentrate on business and raising his family. 1999 Resumed career driving a class 12 buggy for Danny Ashcraft. 2000-2001 Many top 5 finishes in Danny Ashcrafts Class 12 Buggy. 2002 Began driving for All German Motorsports in SCORE Class 10 placing 2nd in the Baja 1000 securing the season championship with Martin Christensen. 2003 Returned with Christensen Winning a back to back Class 10 Championships. 2004 Became Co-Owner in All German Motorsports. Won Class 10 in the Baja 1000 won Class 10 in the Primm 300 2nd overall. 2005 Built an new BMW Powered Class 1 Unlimited Car. First race 5th in Class 1 Baja 500 Heat win and 3rd place in the Main Event Las Vegas Terrible Cup. Teamed with NASCAR Driver Boris Said in the Baja 1000. 2006 Many Top 5 Finishes. Finishing 5th in the Class 1 points and Winning the coveted Toyota Milestone award for finishing every mile of every race. Again Teaming with Boris Said and Martin Christensen in the Baja 1000. 2007 Teams with Rick Backus to Form Western Motorsports. Dave will make his debut as the driver of the #265 Ford F-150 Pro Truck at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Dave & Rick Backus will sharpen their skills the balance of the 2007 Pro Truck Season and Compete for the 2008 Pro Truck Championship.
