Charlie McDowell would come out on top to take home the Baja Protruck Division win at the event with a time of 14:32.968. Charlie would also take the 2006 PPIHC Rookie of the Year award. Beating out even Indy 500 winner Danny "Spin and Win" Sullivan for the title. Congratulations Charlie! Other notables were Gustavo Vildosola Jr. (Current Baja Protruck Points Leader coming into the event) came in second with a time of 14:33.964. Rounding out the top three was Jason Voss (Currently second in the Baja Protruck standings) with a time of 14:36.271.
